Introducing the ‘Premium SVC’ and ‘Premium Plus HQC’ Range

The ‘Universal H10’ model (white and blue) has been a faithful workforce of the GM Electric Range for many years but in 2025 the H10 will be gradually replaced with the ‘Premium SVC’ and the ‘Premium Plus HQC’ Range. The prices will remain the same even though the features have improved.  Both the ‘Premium SVC’ and ‘Premium Plus HQC’ chargers contains two key upgrades:

  • A more sophisticated LCD Display, and
  • Lithium Battery Charging capability via CAN-BUS communication (Note: Your Lithium Batteries OEM are required to provide their CAN-BUS Protocol so that we can load the protocol into your new Charger to enable the Battery, Charger and BMS to communicate).

The ‘Premium Plus HQC’ range includes an additional capability where it can automatically detect the Amp Hour size and Voltage of the battery that it is connected to and it uses proprietary algorithms to adapt the charging current as required without the user having to manually change any settings at all. This means a single HQC charger can charge a mixture of different battery sizes and different voltages without the user having to press any buttons or change any settings at all. One single HQC charger can replace every charger in the workshop!  The user has the option to choose between ‘Manual’ or ‘Auto Voltage’ mode:

  • MANUAL: User can select a fixed voltage output (up to the advertised voltage of the particular charger purchased), e.g. if an 80 Volt charger is purchased then the user can select any voltage up to and including 80V (24V, 36V, 48V, 72V, 80V) but cannot select a higher voltage than what was purchased (96V or 120V),
  • AUTO: Charger can automatically detect the voltage of the battery that it is connected too (up to the advertised voltage of the particular charger purchased) from the following ‘most common’ voltages only: 24V, 36V, 48V & 80V.

For the time being we are continuing to supply H10 models and gradually on a product-by-product-basis the H10’s will be replaced by the Premium SVC’s and then the Premium SVC’s will be replaced with the Premium Plus HQC’s.  Please contact us if you have any queries about what model charger is available in your required size.
